Pursuant to Circular No. 12/2017 of Ministry of Education and Training in 19th May 2017 promulgating the Regulation on accreditation of tertiary education institutions; Pursuant to Decision No. 0168 of Human Resources Department of Hanoi University of Business and Technology dated 7th September 2017 on the establishment of the Council for Self-Assessment and Quality Assurance of Hanoi University of Business and Technology; Pursuant to the Decision No. 0241 of Board Manager of Hanoi University of Business and Technology dated 21st September 2017 on the establishment of the Secretariat for Self-Assessment and Quality Assurance of Hanoi University of Business and Technology. , The Council for Self-Assessment and Quality Assurance of the University and the Secretariat of the Council held a meeting on the draft quality accreditation of higher education of Hanoi University of Business and Technology. The meeting was held by Prof.Dr. Dinh Van Tien - Vice Rector, Standing Vice Chairman of the Self-Assessment Council. Attending the meeting were representatives of some functional departments of the school.

Regulations on
accreditation of tertiary education institutions, including quality evaluation
criteria, quality inspection procedures and procedures of educational
institutions, shall apply to universities, institutes and universities. Study
in the national education system, including educational establishments with
foreign investment elements operating in the Vietnamese territory; Educational
quality accreditation organizations shall be set up by the Minister of
Education and Training; Other organizations and individuals involved.
The meeting
focused on discussing evaluation criteria and assigning them to relevant units,
departments and committees to carry out their tasks with 25 criteria: vision,
mission and culture; Governance; Leadership and management; Strategic
management; Policies on training, scientific research and community service;
Human Resource Management; Financial management and facilities; Networks and
external relations; Quality assurance system inside; Self-evaluation and
external evaluation; Internal quality assurance system; Improve quality;
Enrollment and admission; Designing and reviewing teaching programs; Teaching
and learning; Assessment of learners; Activities to support and support
learners; Managing scientific research; Intellectual property management;
Cooperation and scientific research partners; Connect and serve the community;
Training results; Results of scientific research; Results of community service;
Financial and market results. After nearly 2 hours of discussion and
discussion, the Council reached a common conclusion and reached a consensus of
all members on the issues discussed.

Speaking at the
meeting, Prof.Dr. Dinh Van Tien, Vice Rector of the University - Vice Chairman
of the Council for Self-Assessment and Quality Assurance of Hanoi University of
Business and Technology, stated: "Self-assessment
and quality assurance education and training of Hanoi University of Business
and Technology is very necessary. We have also met the requirements set out in
the Circular No. 12/2017 of Ministry of
Education and Training dated 19th May 2017 on the issuance of the
Regulation on accreditation of higher education institutions. learn. I consider
this to be a big step forward for the university to affirm its position in the
higher education system of the country. Therefore, I ask the units and
individuals assigned to take responsibility according to each specific criteria
must urgently improve their work to report to the Board as well as the Board.”.
Prof. Dinh Van Tien has thoroughly
grasped the policy and working spirit of relevant units and departments,
reported accurate data, avoided the situation of general reporting,
overlapping.
